Antonio Floris
Continuing Airworthiness Manager
Antonio heads the Skyfirst CAMO team and coordinates with maintenance providers worldwide to assure two things: that our managed aircraft are maintained in top condition through scheduled maintenance; and that Skyfirst responds promptly and fully when unexpected maintenance issues arise, as they occasionally do on business aircraft.
He has demonstrated strong planning, team leadership, and liaison skills through a decade in service roles, including as a deputy CAMO Post Holder for a large global charter fleet. This role involved managing a large internal team of engineers, technicians and maintenance schedulers. There he demonstrated a talent for efficiency, logistics, managing dispersed teams and exercising diplomacy to engage the cooperation of service providers around the globe.
He began his career in a CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organzation) – Part 145 operation working hands on with a range of business jet models and demonstrating the competence and professionalism that led to rapid advancement.
He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin. In addition to developing the knowledge base and technical skills to maintain a fleet of aircraft, he has also acquired the management knowledge to work within a complex regulatory compliance environment.
Moreover, he has focused on bringing industry best practices to every new position. This focus keeps Skyfirst at the leading edge of superior maintenance in business aviation. Antonio’s emphasis on best practices, advance planning and people management helps keep our fleet operationally ready and maintains the value of our customers’ aviation assets.
